Cattle Point Portrait Photography Posts 2

Cattle Point in Oak Bay is one of my favourite spots for portraits with some great rocky beach and lots of driftwood. There are fields and bushes surrounding the beach and it’s right across the street from Uplands Park, if you want more variety. It also tends to not be as busy as beaches closer to downtown Victoria.

Gillian and Derek were in town for a friend’s wedding in October, so she booked me for their annual portrait session. Unfortunately, that week ended up being super rainy, but we made the best of it. They braved the cold at Cattle Point for some gorgeous evening light, then we headed to the Atrium to […]

Ok, they’re actually married now, but we did this shoot so close to the wedding, it was part engagement, part wedding portraits. Their intimate ceremony is up next, but here’s a few of my favourites from one of the most gorgeous nights of summer. Makeup: Hollie from Prive Beauty Lounge Hair: Tana from Spoilt Rotten […]

rainy engagement session at willows beach

Shannon and Sean braved a rainy night in September for their engagement session. We headed to Cattle Point, wandered around Uplands Park, and then played around on Willows Beach for a bit. It was darker than expected, and definitely wetter! They were totally soaked by the end, but still smiling.

Arissa and Chad are Engaged

October 16, 2013 by Lara Eichhorn

I met Arissa and Chad on Labour Day at Cattle Point. We hadn’t had a chance to meet in person before and ended up having fun getting to know each other over a couple of hours of shooting. We wandered around Cattle Point and Uplands Park, then fed some seals at Oak Bay Marina, and […]

Ashley and Bryan are Engaged

June 12, 2011 by Lara Eichhorn

Ashley and Bryan met me at Cattle Point a couple of weeks ago for their engagement shoot and we headed over to Mt. Tolmie after for some great views. They’re a really sweet couple, making for some beautiful, intimate portraits. I booked their wedding last June, when we met over pints at Maude Hunter’s and […]
