I met Renee and Matt a couple of years ago at a wedding I was photographing. I loved how adorable they were together and how much fun they were having. Below is a photo I caught of them during cocktail hour.
So I was pretty psyched when they asked me to photograph their wedding and I’m just as excited about this engagement session. I met them at the start of my rainy day in Vancouver and they decided to stay inside their apartment for the shoot. I love in-home sessions because they show what people’s lives are really like in a space that means a lot to them. This is especially true for these two since they say they love hanging out at home together. They made some coffee and worked on creating a new cocktail together.
Renee bought Matt this shirt at a thrift store and I really like it. When Renee went to change into her dress, I noticed something on the elbow. Oh, it was just a bit of a tear, which neither of them had noticed.
