Next up are the portraits taken on the wedding day. This post includes portraits of the wedding party and of the couple alone. I tend to favour the candid photographs over portraits, because I love to see real moments and emotions. However, I do love a good portrait as well and I really love when I can get some real emotions and personality coming through in the portraits. Many of these portraits are of little moments during the portrait session where the couple lets their guard down, stops posing, and just laughs and loves.
I’m happy to announce that the first photo of Warren and Laura was the winner in my 2010 Wedding Photography Contest.
The shot on the left below was taken while second shooting for Karen McNeil. Karen posed the couple and I composed my shot.
