Colleen, whose wedding I photographed last year, contacted me recently about photographing a tea party they were having in their yard this spring. I thought that sounded like such a fun idea, and I left there thinking that I really need to have a tea party too. I recognized most (maybe all) of the guests from the wedding. I always love seeing people from weddings again, especially my clients. Colleen wore her wedding dress again, because if you spend a lot of money on a dress, you should wear it more than once.

They had a bunch of different teas in tea pots, pretty cups and saucers, finger sandwiches, scones, and so many other yummy things. What’s better than a party centered around food? I found out during the party that it was Colleen’s birthday, but she was keeping it kind of hush hush. At the end, Jason brought out a cake with sparkler candles, which she made him blow out. I hope he wished for something good.
