This elopement from at the Galiano Inn was ridiculously gorgeous and fun. I brought Gwen along to help out, because my foot was still recovering from a recent injury, but otherwise, it was just us, the couple, and for the ceremony, the officiant and the owner of the inn. I love intimate elopements like this, because it’s kind of like we’re just hanging out with the couple as friends.

I took a lot of portraits this day and Becky and Colin were amazing at just looking great while interacting with each other. I’m not a fan of doing lots of posing, but I do like to get people interacting in a specific way or playing games (which you’ll see at the end of the post). It was such a pleasure spending a couple of hours with these two.

I couldn’t resist making an animated gif of this set. I was bossing them around, trying to make them laugh, and it totally worked.
