Couple Portraits Posts 19
I like to focus on capturing natural expressions and real emotion in my portrait sessions, so I lightly pose couples and direct them using prompts and conversation. Some of these sessions are partially or totally candid, which is a great way to document an important part of your relationship (ex: walking your dog, hanging out at a favourite cafe or pub, doing a hobby together).

Stephanie and Tyler Anniversary Portraits
Stephanie and Tyler visited Victoria a few months ago and got me to take some anniversary portraits for them. We wandered around downtown a bit and then took a walk near the ocean along Dallas Road. Aren’t they adorable? They both have the most amazing eyes.
Starling Lane Winery – Kurt and Catherine
I met Kurt and Catherine at Starling Lane Winery in May to discuss their plans for their wedding and check out the place. We also took a few photos, despite the overcast, dreary day. I can’t wait to see the winery during their late July wedding when it’ll be even more in bloom.
