I shot Anne and John’s engagement session back in May. The engagement portraits were a gift from the maid of honour, Jessica. We talked about their wedding, but I didn’t ask about their photographer (because I’m not one for the hard sell). I didn’t find out until a couple of months later that they didn’t have a photographer, and they eventually booked me for a few hours. I’m so happy that I was able to spend part of their wedding day with them, because they seriously rock. Anne is a fellow creative, a singer and musician, and John is thoughtful and full of smiles. Their friends and family seemed so loving and sweet. I’ve never actually shot a receiving line until this wedding, and I think everyone got a hug from both of them. Such a beautiful day.
I don’t usually post a ton of black and white photos, but I really thought it fit the feel of this wedding, my first full mass/ceremony as a wedding photographer.
Their friend Josie made these amazing looking cakes. I didn’t try any, but don’t they look beautiful?
Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, Anne and John! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
