‘Lara and her 2nd shooter were fantastic. I initially came across Lara’s website because I was looking for someone to shoot in an odd location (Pender Island) so I searched for photographers in Victoria hoping to get more selection. After looking through photographers websites, Lara’s style resonated with mine and what I wanted. I contacted her expecting her to brush me and my needs off, but I got quite the opposite. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated her professionalism, attention to detail, and non-superficial interest in my day. Even if the pictures ended up being horrible, I was just elated already with the way I was treated.
When we got to the day of the wedding, Lara and Louise not only showed up on time, she showed up despite being very sick, and made the best of it. I had no idea she was sick until after, she made it all about me and my day. She was non-intrusive, and got along well with all of the guests. A lot of the guests came up to me and commented on how much they were impressed by my photographers great attitudes. She was a great listener and made everyone feel comfortable in potentially awkward situations. We received the pictures in a timely manner, and got enough sneak peeks before all of the pictures arrived to satisfy any anxiety and curiosity. I originally did not want any photographer, but I am extremely happy I did, and that I chose Lara. The hard part now is to decide on which picture I like best to frame!’
