Winter Portrait Special and Facebook Contest

I’m having a portrait special until the end of March. One hour, on location portrait sessions will cost $100 (+ tax) and come with a CD of 20+ edited images.   I specialize in engagement sessions, bridal and trash the dress shoots, and high school senior portraits, but if you love my style, try me for family portraits, kid portraits, head shots, or whatever you can think of.  I work at the location of your choosing, though I can certainly recommend some interesting spots. Send me an e-mail to lara@laraeichhorn.com or call me at 250-418-5870 to arrange a session.

If you’d like a chance to win a free portrait session instead, I’m having a contest on Facebook this week.  Win an hour-long on-location portrait session with me. Invite your Facebook friends to become a fan of Lara Eichhorn Photography and then send me the names of your friends who’ve joined to lara@laraeichhorn.com on or before March 7th. The person with the most friends who join will be the winner.  Click here to check out my Facebook fan page and participate in the contest.

Price Changes

I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be increasing my prices on portrait sessions and 2010 weddings on November 1st.  Book before then to get the current price.  Your wedding or session doesn’t have to be this month, but you have to book by then.   I hope to see some of your beautiful faces on this blog in the near future.

Senior Portraits

I’ve been shooting quite a bit lately, just haven’t had time to edit much or update this blog.  I did two awesome senior portrait shoots over the past week, which I’m super excited to post soon.  To see some early results and learn more, check out my senior portraits page.

New Branding from Candy Apple Studios

I’ve mostly finished the redesign of this site.  The central point of the design is a blog header, designed by Amy at Candy Apple Studios.  She specializes in branding for photographers, so if you’re working on your brand, check her out.  She was great to work with and took all of my suggestions, even the nitpicky ones (and told me when I asked if my idea was silly).  I love all of it.  What do you think?

Aside from the blog header, she also made my logo, business cards, watermarks, and packaging stickers.  I think the colors are a little off because these things are meant for print, aside from the watermark.  I forgot to change the colour space when converting these, but the pink should be the same pink as the blog header and the watermark.
